If the Chairboys blow their chance of automatic promotion from this stage of the season it would be crushing for them. Wycombe have scored in each of their last nine home games and in each of their last twelve consecutively home and away. The Shrimps have slipped down to just above the drop zone with a D4 L2 record produced in their last six games. They have drawn their last two and have gone D2 L1 in their last three on the road. Their overall away form for the season is a poor W2 D7 L7 record and they have managed to tally only 13 goals away from home this season. So pretty much from the start of the season, they have had travel sickness. 62% of those 13 goals they have scored in the second half of matches and while their defence hasn’t been all that bad this season, no-one has scored fewer goals than they have done this season in League Two. That is the thing which has really been hurting them. Considering the number of drawn matches they have earned recently, a point out of this massively tough away game would be a huge success if they could get it.
