Wycombe have made a very good start to the new League two campaign with four points on the board and they have found the goals easy to come by so far this term. While there some obvious issues at the back, they will be confident of delivering on home soil in this one. Notts County showed a bit of character in bouncing back last week.

After having lost their season opener they delivered the goods on home soil, but now have to hit the road again where they could be a little bit vulnerable. Wycome are 11/10 to collect maximum points on home soil with Notts County drifting out at 5/2 shot.
Wycombe Form
It has been a very positive start from Wycombe then after opening with a 2-2 draw at home against Lincoln. They followed that up by collecting a 3-2 win out at Port Vale. So that’s a good five goal return in just two matches from them, but naturally they are going to need to find a way to shut up shop a little bit. Their form through suggests that there could be goals at both ends in this one. Wycombe posted a W11 D6 L6 record at home last season and have lost just one of their last six there now. Wycombe have Adebayo Akinfenwa with a couple of goals on the board this season.
Notts County Form
Notts County went W9 D1 L13 on the road last season in League Two and so were total hit and miss across the board. It’s been a bit the same as that for them this season with a 3-0 opening loss at Coventry, before securing a good 2-0 home win over Chesterfield. The thing for them will be trying to find some kind of consistency though which didn’t happen last season at any point. This isn’t the easiest of away games that they will find themselves having to take on but they have a little form going at Adams Park.
Head to Head News
This is the third season in a row that these two will have met in League Two. It’s an even record of W1 D2 L1 in the last four meetings between them. Wycombe did lose this one at home last season by a 1-0 scoreline and they are winless in four on home soil against Notts County (D1 L3).
Top Betting Tips
Wycome are edging things in terms of current form and they are value to snap out of their home funk against County. The Chairboys have done enough damage going forward this season already to cause their opponents a few problems. Look for a home win at that 11/10 price at William Hill and Akinfenwa is always a bit of value in the anytime goalscorer market.
