World Friendly International 4-Fold 2018 (Thursday & Friday)
Now that the Champions League Final is out of the way, preparation for the World Cup Finals is ramping up and teams are getting ready to play their final friendly internationals before the tournament. There are some huge matches taking place across Thursday and Friday and in this article I will be putting together a 4-fold bet for you to take advantage of. All of the odds in this article come courtesy of Coral and are accurate at the time of writing.
Slovakia vs Netherlands
Neither of these teams managed to qualify for the World Cup Finals in Russia, but both will be looking for a positive result on Thursday. Ronald Koeman lost his first match in charge of Holland against England, but he followed that up with an impressive 3-0 win against Portugal. Despite failing to qualify for Russia, Holland come into this game in pretty good form having won nine of their last 11 matches and I’m backing the Dutch to emerge victorious from this one as Koeman seeks to oversee a new era.
Netherlands to win – 11/10
Czech Republic vs Australia
The Czech Republic failed to qualify for yet another World Cup this summer, but they face an Australian side who will be dreaming of success next month. The Socceroos overcame Syria in the World Cup Playoffs and they will be aiming to impress in Russia. In truth, this is a very poor Australian side though and they had to rely on goals from the veteran, Tim Cahill, to get them to the World Cup. The days of stars like Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka are long gone and I’m backing the Czech’s to win this one.
Czech Republic to win – 13/10
France vs Italy
Italy were the biggest name side not to qualify for the World Cup Finals, and they will spend this summer thinking on what could have been. Friday night sees a repeat of the 2006 World Cup Final and new Italy boss, Roberto Mancini, will be hoping to pick up a second win in this one. France are one of the favourites to win this World Cup and they have an excellent young squad which could go all the way in Russia. This French side have more to play for and I’m backing them to beat Italy in this one.
France to win – 6/10
Tunisia vs Turkey
England staff will be watching this game with a keen eye as Tunisia take on Turkey. England will begin their World Cup campaign against this Tunisian side on Monday 18th June and they will be doing their research during this game. Turkey have failed to qualify for this World Cup, but they should have too much for a fairly pedestrian Tunisia side on Friday and I’m backing them to win here.
Turkey to win – 7/5
Total 4-Fold – 18/1 (Coral)
