Euro 2024 Favourites
Based on world ranking, previous performances at major tournaments and other factors, there are a handful of nations who head to Germany confident of success. England are the bookies’ favourites at 3/1. Despite having never won the European Championship before, the Three Lions have a squad that is more than capable of reaching the final.
2x winners France is always a team to reckon with at major tournaments. Kylian Mbappe will be looking to make up for a frustrating domestic campaign with PSG in Germany. Odds of 4/1 are worth considering. Then you have Germany, Spain and Portugal. The trio are among the outsiders to win Euro 2024 and should all make the Round of 16.
Our Predictions
Unlike previous tournaments, we do not anticipate any major shocks at Euro 2024. This means that favourites England, Germany, Spain, and Portugal should all make it safely to the quarter-finals. From there, the race to the final really begins. At odds of 4/1 and 11/2, respectively, France and Germany are our picks.
After being drawn into the “Group of Death” alongside Spain, Croatia and Albania, Italy are at risk of an early exit. The Azzurri were not convincing during qualifying and may struggle to score enough goals in Germany.
