Tennis Betting Tips: ATP Tour Paris Masters

The ATP World Tour Finals in London are looming large and with 1000 points to play for in Paris – it promises to be an entertaining week. The absence of Djokovic, Murray and co. potentially makes way for some of the fringe players on the tour to sneak into contention here in Paris in an open-looking draw. With a crowded schedule over the past few weeks, the workload could catch up with some players whilst others could be finding form when it matters.

Outright Betting

Andy Murray isn’t fit enough to defend his title so there will be a different name on the cup this year. Roger Federer has only lifted the title here in Paris once whilst Rafael Nadal has never won the event – a stat they will both be looking to improve upon.

Here are some tips for the title in Paris:

Rafael Nadal – 5/2 (Coral) – Nadal wasn’t able to travel to Basel last week due to an ongoing injury problem but could well benefit from the rest. His 2 Grand Slam wins in the year have placed him up there within the annuls of tennis and how the Mallorcan would love to win the title at the Bercy for the first time in his career.

Roger Federer – 5/2 (Ladbrokes) – The ‘Fed-Express’ continues to roll on as the Swiss superstar won in Shanghai a fortnight ago and looks set to win his home event in Basel – provided he can negotiate past Del Potro in the final. Not had much success here and would dearly love to add to his tally of 1 win – back in 2011.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga – 16/1 (Coral) –The enigmatic Frenchman loves playing at the Bercy in front of his home crowd. He lifted the crown here in 2008 and has found form in recent weeks – winning in Antwerp and reaching the final in Vienna. He also has an outside chance of making it to London for the World Tour Finals.
