8 of the most exciting players in the world converge on Milan to face off in the inaugural ATP Next Gen Finals event in a ground-breaking new format. For the first time ever on the ATP tour there will be no line judges – all of the line calls will be administered by Hawkeye in an innovative move from the ATP Tour. The qualification criteria for the Next Gen finals is the highest ranked 8 players under the age of 21 – competing on the ATP Tour.

Denis Shapovalov – 6/1 (Coral) –The young Canadian has taken the tennis world by storm this term and at the age of 18 looks to have all the hallmarks needed to have a long and successful career in the game. He made the 4th round of the US Open and is one of the very few men to have beaten Rafael Nadal this season (in Montreal).
