Sacramento Kings vs Milwaukee Bucks: Current situation
Even though they’ve won 2 of their last 3 games, there is no denying that the Kings are having major issues with Domantas Sabonis being out injured. We just saw them lose to a fairly mediocre Chicago Bulls team at home, dropping to 35-33 on the season. Finishing 9th seems like the most realistic outcome for this team as the Suns are 2.5 games back in 10th and the 8th seeded T’Wolves have a 4 game advantage.
After starting off their 5-game West coast road trip with a disappointing loss in Golden State, the Bucks bounced back with a important 118-89 win over the Lakers. Damian Lillard did not suit up for that game due to a calf injury, his status is very much up in the air for the remainder of this trip as the Bucks aren’t willing to take any risks with the postseason being just a couple of weeks away.
Sacramento Kings Stats & Form
Malik Monk did his best with 34 points and 5 threes made, but the Kings just weren’t able to match the energy of the Chicago Bulls, falling at home 128-116. Zach LaVine was a major disappointment with just 8 points scored vs his former team. The Kings once again got outrebounded 40-36, allowing 12 offensive boards to the Bulls.
Milwaukee Bucks Stats & Form
Holding the Lakers to just 89 points looks really good on paper, but it is worth pointing out that LA rested both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves which severely handicapped them on offense as LeBron James is already out. None of the Bucks starters played more than 32 minutes, Giannis Antetokounmpo was able to record 28 points and 7 rebounds in just 29 minutes of play to lead the way.
Sacramento Kings vs Milwaukee Bucks: Head-to-Head
In 157 regular season games so far, the Bucks have recorded 98 wins while the Kings are at just 59 wins. It’s been all Milwaukee in this match-up in recent years – prior to the Kings winning one game last season, the Bucks had a streak of 15 wins in a row dating back to the 2015-16 season. Interestingly enough, the point total has gone over in 12 of the last 13 meetings between the two teams at the Golden 1 Center.
Sacramento Kings – Milwaukee Bucks Odds

Betting tip and prediction: Sacramento Kings vs Milwaukee Bucks (22.03.2025)
It’s quite evident that the Sacramento Kings just aren’t at their best at the moment. With just 2 wins in 7 games they’ve fallen to 9th place in the West standings, this team will not be at its best until they get their power forward Domantas Sabonis back from injury. Over the last 10 games they have the 5th worst defensive rating in the entire NBA, allowing teams to score 121.8 points per 100 possessions. The Bucks are a level above in this area during this stretch – they allow 110.7 points per 100 possessions, which is good enough for 12th place. Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t exert himself too much in the win over the Lakers the other day, he will have his imprint all over Saturday’s game with the paint being exposed due to absence of Sabonis. Milwaukee could be without Damian Lillard here, but that shouldn’t make too much of an impact on the result as they’ve won 6 of the 10 games he’s missed this season. Bettors have made profit consistently on Bucks games lately, this team has covered in 8 of their last 12, while against Western Conference teams that number is at 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games. Sacramento has just 3 wins in their last 9 games played on a Saturday, plus they’ve covered the spread only twice in 10 games vs Central Division teams. Until Sabonis is back and healthy we recommend staying away from Sacramento. Give us the Bucks to cover the spread here.
