The Pacers had more rebounds, more assists and more steals in that game, while also committing less turnovers. The only bright spot for Phoenix was the play of Kevin Durant who finished with 25 points. Bradley Beal had just 8 on the night on 3-for-12 shooting, far too little for a player currently on a max contract.

Defense has been a major issue for the Suns during this 4-game losing streak, we just saw them allow 126 points to the Indiana Pacers on Friday. Teams have been exposing the Suns’ weaknesses when it comes to guarding the perimeter – Phoenix ranks just 23rd in the NBA allowing teams to shoot 36.6% from downtown this season. Philadelphia will look to capitalize on that, even though they are one of the more average shooting teams in the NBA. Joel Embiid just had 28 points in the dominant win over Brooklyn, despite logging just 29 minutes. Unless we see some kind of injury setback. Embiid is expected to suit up against Phoenix, he could once again have a big scoring night with Jusuf Nurkic not exactly being the most dominant of defenders. This match-up has been dominated by home teams for a while now, so despite the Suns having Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker all available they are still underdogs going into this game. At some point the losing will stop for the Suns, we just don’t think that’ll be on Monday in Philadelphia. Go with the 76ers here.
