Cleveland has won both meetings in convincing fashion, they’re looking to close out the regular season series with yet another win on Friday. There’s not much optimism around the 76ers organization right now, injuries have decimated this team’s season and with their best player once again not playing it’s hard to imagine them getting anything out of this game against the top team in the East. The Sixers have had major issues putting the ball into the basket, over their last 3 games their highest total is 109 points. On the other end they got destroyed in all 3 of those games, on Tuesday the Nuggets put up 144 points past them. Tyrese Maxey is the team’s only bright spot this year, but even if he has a 40+ point game here, nothing is guaranteed. Cleveland has only lost back-to-back games twice this season, they’re coming off a disappointing loss at Houston on Wednesday, so this is a bounce back opportunity for them. Yes, the injury situation isn’t ideal with a couple of important pieces out, but Garland and Mitchell are both ready and producing at a high level.
