The Autumn Rugby Internationals will be kicking up a storm of high-quality action on the weekend. All of the British and the Irish nations will be out testing themselves against opposition from the southern hemisphere. Scotland have to cope with a long injury list as they welcome the hard-running Samoa to Murrayfield, while the Irish get an opener against South Africa. Both Scotland and Ireland are respective favourites to win their matches.
After their tour of Argentina in the summer where they won both Test matches against their South American counterparts, England play host to the Pumas at Twickenham on the weekend. That will be a big build-up match for the English who go on to face Australia the following weekend. Australia have a big game ahead of them this weekend too as they are down in South Wales facing off against the Dragons in what should be a competitive and thrilling fixture.
This is all preparatory work ahead of the 2018 Six Nations as well as being a good chance for the head coaches to look at some of the new players who could potentially break through the ranks. It is still important to win though, as winning becomes a habit and there could well be a perfect return of four wins from four by the home nations on the weekend in the Autumn Internationals.
