Milwaukee Bucks vs Orlando Magic: Current situation
The situation in Milwaukee has slowly stabilized itself with zero players currently being on the injury report. That has to feel good if you are head coach Doc Rivers who was under a lot of scrutiny after a sub-par start to the season. Winning the Emirates NBA Cup is a priority for this team, they have the necessary combination of talent and experience to do so. A win here would also push the Bucks into 5th spot in the Eastern Conference as they currently trail the Miami Heat by just 0.5 games in the win column.
At 10-0 the Orlando Magic remained the NBA’s only undefeated home team this season. That is very encouraging for a team that’s currently playing without their 2 best players Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Oddly enough both of them suffered a torn oblique which will keep them out for a month or so. The true character of this Magic team will be seen during this difficult time, as things stand they are 3rd in the East with a 17-9 record.
Milwaukee Bucks Stats & Form
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points and 11 assists on Sunday for the Bucks as they came out of Brooklyn with a 118-113 victory. Bobby Portis and Gary Trent Jr. also stepped up off the bench with 23 and 20 points respectively, but the Bucks will also be happy with the progress Khris Middleton is making as he returns from a serious injury. Entering Tuesday’s game the Bucks have now won 7 of their last 8 home games and are 8-2 SU over their last 10 overall.
Orlando Magic Stats & Form
The form of the Orlando Magic has been up and down over the past 4 games as they’ve exchanged wins and losses during this stretch. Their latest win came at home against the Phoenix Suns 115-110 on Sunday. Jalen Suggs and Goga Bitadze put up 26 and 21 points to help the Magic remain undefeated in home games this season at 10-0. However, there were some warning signs in that game as the Magic shot just 33% from the field and also recorded only 17 assists.
Milwaukee Bucks vs Orlando Magic: Head-to-Head
Prior to last season when each team won 2 games, the Milwaukee Bucks were on a run of 14 straight victories in head-to-head meetings. They haven’t lost a regular season series against Orlando dating back to the 2011-12 season. Milwaukee leads the all-time regular season total with 73 wins to 55 for Orlando.
Milwaukee Bucks – Orlando Magic Odds

Betting tip and prediction: Milwaukee Bucks vs Orlando Magic (10.12.2024)
Bad luck has once again struck the Orlando Magic as they lost their leader and best player Franz Wagner to an oblique injury. The same injury happened to their superstar Paolo Banchero earlier in the season, Wagner stepped up in his absence and became the leader of this team. Without him, the Magic stand on chance of winning the Emirates NBA Cup. Jalen Suggs did step up and score 26 in the win over Phoenix, but this time around the Magic are on the road and it’s only a matter of time until losing their top 2 players will start to haunt them. Milwaukee is desperate for a result after their slow start to the season, winning the NBA Cup would do wonders for the confidence of this team, so expect them to be at their best in these games. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been a menace towards opposing teams – averaging 32.5 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. As currently constructed the Orlando Magic don’t have anyone on their roster to contain the Greek Freak. At 7-9 SU on the road this season Orlando has shown its weaknesses, we expect the Bucks to come out hot here and take care of business at home. Back Milwaukee to cover.
