They also got outrebounded, had less assists and were just dominated in every single aspect. The good news is they face a Lakers team they’ve beaten in 7 of the last 10 meetings, they’re 7-5 SU in 12 games when being the favorite this season.

The Lakers are currently in midst of a long road trip which will see them take on Atlanta after Wednesday’s game against Miami, before they head back home. James will be extra motivated to well against his former team, but for a player that’ll be 40 years old at the end of this month we are wondering how much does he have left in the tank.

We just witnessed what could have possibly been the Lakers’ worst performance of the season as they got smoked by the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-80 on Monday night. D’Angelo Russell was the lone bright spot with 20 points, the rest of the team shot under 2-for-26 from downtown. LeBron James really struggled with just 10 points, he looks to bounce back in his lone visit to South Beach as he takes on the team he spent 4 years with last decade. Miami also lost on Monday, but unlike the Lakers they played a very strong Boston Celtics team which was at full strength. The Heat have also had much more success in head-to-head meetings winning 4 of the last 5, plus they’re by far the better three-point shooting team. LA has really struggled shooting from distance, knocking down less than 10 threes in 3 of their last 5 games. The Heat have hit 15 and 21 threes in 2 of their last 3 games, if they can get going early from the perimeter it will be game over very soon in this game.
