Miami Heat vs Golden State Warriors: Current situation
Finally the losing streak is over as the Miami Heat managed to beat the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday 122-105. The win ended a 10-game slide for Erik Spoelstra’s men, it was their longest losing streak in more than a decade and a half. With the Bulls now being just a game away in 9th place, it is important for the Heat to keep the momentum going if they want to at least secure home court advantage in the first play-in tournament game.
Golden State continues their 6-game road trip which began in Atlanta on Saturday. There was no Stephen Curry in that game as he continues to heal from his pelvis injury. Jimmy Butler tried his best to carry the team’s offense with 25 points and 8 assists, but the defense just wasn’t up to the task. Despite the loss the Warriors are still 8-2 SU over their last 10 games and are currently holding on to the 6th seed in the West.
Miami Heat Stats & Form
Andrew Wiggins exploded for 42 points in what was his 2nd highest scoring game ever, as the Heat took down the Hornets by 17 points on Sunday. It was far from smooth sailing for the Heat who were down by as many as 12 points in that game, however a strong showing in the 2nd and 3rd quarter secured the win. It was only the 2nd win for Miami in the month of March so far.
Golden State Warriors Stats & Form
Stephen Curry’s status continues to be up in the air as the Warriors continue their road trip. His absence was clearly felt in the loss to Atlanta over the weekend as the Warriors shot just 46% from the field as a team. However, the main issue in that loss was the defense which failed to stop the ball movement by the Hawks who finished with 37 assists total.
Miami Heat vs Golden State Warriors: Head-to-Head
These two teams met back in early January and the Heat came out on top 114-98. Tuesday’s game will be the 73rd meeting all-time in the regular season, the teams are neck and neck with 37 wins for the Warriors and 35 for Miami. Miami has a slight edge when it comes to covering the spread, they’ve done so 6 times in the last 10 meetings.

Betting tip and prediction: Miami Heat vs Golden State Warriors (25.03.2025)
The losing streak might be over, but the bitter taste in the mouths of Miami Heat fans remains. Beating the Charlotte Hornets isn’t all that impressive when you think about it, until the Heat get a signature win against one of the elite teams in the NBA they shouldn’t be taken seriously. Golden State is the perfect opponent for that to happen, especially if Stephen Curry isn’t able to go due to his pelvic injury. Even though his impact on winning is massive for Golden State, the Warriors are actually 7-3 SU in 10 games without Curry this season. Jimmy Butler will play a big role if he’s the lone superstar in Tuesday’s game and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Playing against the team that traded you away after saying you’re not worth a max extension will certainly be a motivating factor for Butler, who is enjoying a great spell of play since becoming a part of this Warriors roster. Golden State has been fairly reliable on the road this season, covering the spread 19 times in 34 games. With them being slight underdogs against a Heat team that’s won just once in 11 games, we feel like this is a solid opportunity to get decent odds for a Golden State road victory. Back Jimmy Butler and co. to cover the spread here.
