Mansfield are on a tear at the moment and now have an automatic promotion spot in their sights. They start the weekend just the three points outside of the top three after some tremendous form. This is a big home game for them now and they will be catching Coventry just at the right time as well with the Sky Blues fading away on a three-match losing streak of form.

Mansfield
The Stags have produced a cracking season on home soil having gone W10 D5 L1 for the season at Field Mill. They are on a huge five-match winning streak there and they have netted at least three goals in each of their last four home successes. So it has been tremendous stuff from them and last weekend they showed some real mettle in going out and taking a 1-0 away win at Exeter. So the Stags will be expected to deliver the goods in this home game as well because they are bubbling over with confidence at her moment. They have scored an average of over two goals per game at home this season and have been trailing at half time just once. They are unbeaten in nine now on home soil, having scored at least two goals in each of their last five there. It may all add up to being too much for the visiting Coventry to handle but still, it may be worth considering both teams to score.
Coventry
Coventry have slumped to three straight defeats, shipping exactly two goals in each of those as well, which is rough for a side whose strengths are defensive ones. Their away form is really in the gutter at the moment with five defeats in their last six league games away from the Ricoh Arena (W1) and they are having a hard time pulling things together, looking as if they are just running out of steam. They have only netted the 14 goals in 16 away games as well so haven’t been prolific on their travels at any point of the season and just 38% of their road games have gone over 2.5 goals. They are fading and slipping away from a chance of landing a play off spot and this is no easy game for them either. 79% of their away goals incidentally have come in the second half of games this season.
Mansfield vs Coventry Head to Head
There have not been many previous duels between the two clubs with this being the teeth. From the previous nine things are even with four wins each and one drawn match. Mansfield took a 1-0 win at the Ricoh Arena earlier this season over Coventry and that is four wins in their last five contests against the Sky Blues now for the Stags. Mansfield have won their last two home games against Coventry but this is their first hosting of them since 1976.
Top Mansfield vs Coventry Betting Tip
Back Mansfield to rattle off another home win. They have looked so impressive lately and their scoring output is high and the Sky Blues are just totally unlikely to match that. Look for a home win, but for both teams to score.
