The first trophy of the season is up for grabs at Wembley on Sunday as Manchester City and Arsenal face off in what promises to be a massive game for both sides. Arsenal will be targeting this and the Europa League as their only trophy possibilities whilst City, with the Premier League seemingly wrapped up, fell to third-tier Wigan in the FA Cup and will be keen to bounce back here.

Manchester City
There looks to be no stopping City in the Premier League at the moment who currently sit 16 points clear as Pep Guardiola looks to break his trophy duck at Manchester City. Their FA Cup defeat to Wigan has blown their quadruple hopes but they are still one of the top teams in the country and will be relishing the opportunity to feature in yet another Wembley final. Sergio Aguero is the club’s top scorer this season with 29 goals so far in all competitions, as City continue to fight on three fronts.
Arsenal
The inconsistencies within Arsenal’s season have been alarming all campaign and as a result they have struggled to make an impact in any competition, with the Carabao Cup and Europa League the only exceptions. The Gunners remain 6th – 5 points off the top 4 (with Chelsea still to play this week) in the Premier League and have work to do to be playing Champions League football next term but they are always a threat. Alexandre Lacazette is still struggling to hold down a consistent place in the starting XI but the Frenchman will be keen to add to his tally of 9 goals for the season in this huge game.
