Lincoln have been a strong side all season and have not suffered a defeat in any of their last eight league games at Sincil Bank, scoring in each of their last nine there. They have only been losing at half time once this season on home soil may well be value to win both halves of this game against the struggling Railwaymen. They are having a tough time of things at the moment and suffered a 2-1 loss at home against Exeter in midweek. The last time they were out on their travels was at Accrington and they took a 1-0 loss. Eight of the thirteen away losses that they have suffered so far this season have all been by a one-goal margin only. They have scored only the fourteen goals in their sixteen road games so that has been a poor output from them, especially when they have conceded an average of 1.9 goals per away game. With just a six points game between themselves and the drop zone, and with them being out of form, they can’t sleep easy just yet. Of the goals that they have managed to produce, 71% of them have been in the first half of matches. 73% of their points this season have been won at home which speaks volumes about their away form.

Lincoln romped to a big 4-1 away win back in November when they met but the three previous meetings between them had all ended in a 1-1 draw. In the previous five League Two clashes, it is Lincoln who are ahead with a W1 D4 record against Crewe. The last two between them at Sincil Bank have ended in a 1-1 draw and if you look way back through history, the Imps are winless in six at home against the Railwaymen.
