The Imps suffered a setback last weekend in their play-off ambitions as they were taken down by Crawley. Will they be able to make amends this weekend back on home soil? The loss against Crawley did snap a good stretch of form that they were on. Crewe have lost four of their last six league games now and are still only the six points ahead of the drop zone and this looks to be another difficult game for them to pick up points in.

Lincoln City
The Imps were stopped by Crawley last weekend which snapped a great run of six games without a loss that they were on. Lincoln have been a strong side all season and have not suffered a defeat in any of their last eight league games at Sincil Bank, scoring in each of their last nine there. They have only been losing at half time once this season on home soil may well be value to win both halves of this game against the struggling Railwaymen. Lincoln’s defence has been great at home with them having conceded under a goal per game on average, but still, 59% of their home fixtures have gone over 2.5 goals. Lincoln have taken a clean sheet in 35% of games at Sincil Bank and have the third-best defence in the league. Their overall home form reads W9 D6 L2 for the season and they are probably strong enough to go and get a win to nil on the board.
Crewe Alexandra
Crewe have lost thirteen of sixteen away games this season and each of their last five on the road. They are having a tough time of things at the moment and suffered a 2-1 loss at home against Exeter in midweek. The last time they were out on their travels was at Accrington and they took a 1-0 loss. Eight of the thirteen away losses that they have suffered so far this season have all been by a one-goal margin only. They have scored only the fourteen goals in their sixteen road games so that has been a poor output from them, especially when they have conceded an average of 1.9 goals per away game. With just a six points game between themselves and the drop zone, and with them being out of form, they can’t sleep easy just yet. Of the goals that they have managed to produce, 71% of them have been in the first half of matches. 73% of their points this season have been won at home which speaks volumes about their away form.
Lincoln vs Crewe Head to Head
Lincoln romped to a big 4-1 away win back in November when they met but the three previous meetings between them had all ended in a 1-1 draw. In the previous five League Two clashes, it is Lincoln who are ahead with a W1 D4 record against Crewe. The last two between them at Sincil Bank have ended in a 1-1 draw and if you look way back through history, the Imps are winless in six at home against the Railwaymen.
Top Lincoln vs Crewe Betting Tip
Current form would have to dictate that it would be the Imps who come out with the three points in this one. They have been doing well lately and that slip against Crawley is likely to have just been a little blip. Crewe probably aren’t going to hold out. Home win.
