Runaway Premier League leaders, Manchester City, host Leicester City at The Etihad Stadium on Saturday with plenty of bad blood existing between these teams. Manchester City made a last ditch attempt to sign Riyad Mahrez on transfer deadline day, but their £70m offer was rejected outright by Leicester City. The transfer rumours resulted in Mahrez handing in a transfer request and refusing to train to try and force through a move. The Algerian has not featured for Leicester since the closing of the transfer window and he is unlikely to be involved again on Saturday.
In the game itself, Manchester City will be looking to get back to winning ways after drawing 1-1 with Burnley in their last league game. Raheem Sterling had his own contender for miss of the season in that game and Pep Guardiola will be hoping that his side can bounce back and extend their 13-point lead at the top of the table on Saturday.
