They’ve had way worse luck with injuries this year and are still above the Lakers in the Western Conference. Kawhi Leonard coming back adds another dimension to their defense, LeBron James will have a hard time scoring over him in this game. Defense in general is what differentiates the Clippers from the Lakers. Over their last 3 games they’ve held opponents to just 27.2% shooting from three-point land, while the Lakers have allowed 42.2% shooting. Paint protection is another weakness for the Lakers who allow 51.9 points per game from up close, that ranks the team in purple and gold only 28th in the NBA. Ivica Zubac is a candidate for the Most Improved Player award, we are looking forward to his match-up with the rested Anthony Davis here.
