Golden State wasted a 38-point effort by Steph Curry on Christmas Day as they dropped a home game against the Lakers 115-113. That wasn’t a good look for the Dubs as LA lost Anthony Davis just 7 minutes into the game. Something has been off with the Warriors for a while now and the timing of having to face the Clippers couldn’t be any worse. LA has owned the regular season series lately, winning the last 5 meetings and covering 4 times in those 5 games. It gets even worse for the Warriors in road games at the Intuit Dome where they’ve lost 6 straight games. The Clippers will be motivated with their recent run of 3 wins in 4 games, but that’s not even the biggest news coming out of LA these days. Kawhi Leonard, who is yet to play a single minute this season due to a knee injury, has started 5-on-5 drills and is rumored to be making a comeback some time in the next couple of weeks. That’ll be a major boost to an already lethal offense which has scored 114, 118 and 144 points in 3 of their last 4 games.
