As the PGA Tour moves into February and the prospect of the Masters at Augusta being only a couple of months away, scrutiny beings to shift towards the form of the world’s top players. Many of the biggest names in the game have ascended on the Riviera in what promises to be an intriguing week of golf in California.

All of the big names in golf arrive at the Riviera course in what is potentially a big week in the context of the PGA Tour.
Here’s a look at some of our favourites for the Genesis Open:
Dustin Johnson – +900.00 (William Hill) – The world number 3 Dustin Johnson has been in fine form once again at the start of the 2019 season and he is unrivalled as the most consistent performer on the tour. His win at the Saudi Open was reminiscent of the Johnson of old and he is the comfortable favourite here.
Justin Thomas – +1300.00 (888 Sport) – With two top 5 finishes so far in 2019, Justin Thomas looks well set this season and he unquestionably has the credentials to go deep here at the Genesis Open. He’ll be eager to build upon his two wins from last season here.
Rory McIlroy – +1500.00 (Intertops) – With only one tournament win in the past 2 seasons, questions are being asked of the Northern Irishman at the top level. Having dropped to number 9 in the world, he will be hoping to climb back up the rankings in 2019.
Jon Rahm – +1700.00 (LeoVegas) – Spanish hotshot Jon Rahm hasn’t finished outside the top 10 in any of the events he has played this season and is very much the form man on the PGA Tour. His showing at the Phoenix Open last week could be a good sign this season.
Bryson Dechambeau– +1900.00 (B-Bets) – World number 5 Bryson Dechambeau enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2018 and has rocketed up the rankings. He carried where he left off in 2018 at the Dubai Desert Classic and he is very much one to watch here.
Xander Schauffele– +2300.00 (Betway) – World number 7 Xander Schauffele will be looking to keep his impressive run of form going in California. His win at the Sentry Tournament of Champions got him off to a flying start in 2019 and he should be raring to go here.
Tiger Woods – +2500.00 (Bodog) – Despite many years at the top table of American golf, the Genesis Open is one of the only events to elude Tiger Woods in his illustrious career. Despite no form to speak of here, the American looks somewhat overpriced potentially under cooked field.
Tommy Fleetwood – +4100.00 (Sports Interaction) – In-form Englishman Tommy Fleetwood enjoyed the best year of his career to date in 2018 and he will be looking to keep that run going in 2019. He is yet to win on the USPGA Tour and looks well priced to break his duck here.
