The main worry coming out of the Warriors camp is the status of Jimmy Butler ahead of Game 3. The MRI came back clean so there is no structural damage to his pelvic area, however that doesn’t mean he will be ready for Saturday’s game. That trend should continue moving forward, especially if Jimmy Butler isn’t able to play in Game 3 following his nasty fall in Wednesday’s game. As this series moves on the level of physicality is going up and now that the Warriors are back home they’ll be much comfortable playing in front of their own fans. As far as the Rockets go, they finally got a great game out of Jalen Green who exploded for 38 points, but consistency is something that the youngster hasn’t been able to master this year. Alperen Sengun has asserted himself on the boards, which is understandable considering the Warriors don’t really have a dominant force on the inside. Both teams will make the proper adjustments going into Game 3, but everything will depend on Jimmy Butler’s status here. So before making a bet on this game we advise waiting for a proper medical update from the Warriors. After seeing Jayson Tatum miss a game in the Celtics vs Magic series, we believe Butler could do the same here just to give himself an extra few days for his body to heal up.
