Whether it’s mid-season boredom by the defending champions or something else, nobody can figure out why the Cs are struggling so much in the month of January.

Kyrie Irving is healthy after a minor back issue, he will be extra motivated to well against the team that traded him away a couple of season ago. Boston has just not been performing up to their standards lately. They are only 5-5 SU over their last 10 games overall, while in their last 8 they’ve covered the spread only two times. Unlike Dallas they are at full strength for the most part, but chemistry issues have plagued them ever since the start of 2025. From an individual standpoint Kristaps Porzingis might have a good game against his former team here, but we are siding with the Mavericks in this one.
