Colchester had their great run of form snapped with a defeat last weekend out at the struggling Crewe which was a bit of a surprise loss for the U’s. It leaves them sitting in mid-table which on the face of things is where they are likely to end up at the end of the season. They have not earned a clean sheet away from home this season and they have conceded at least two goals in five of their last seven away games. If there is a light at the end of the tunnel then it is very dim and very distant for them. The Bees’ away record this season in League Two is a dismal W2 D3 L12.
