Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavaliers: Current situation
The Bulls are one of the most iconic franchises in the NBA, but they’re currently in midst of a long stretch of mediocrity, failing to build a contender ever since the Derrick Rose era. This year appears to be no different with the team starting off winning just 40% of games through the first two weeks of the season. It’s only a matter of time until the Bulls blow it up and get active in the trade market.
Cleveland just became only the 12th team in NBA history to start off a season 11-0 following their tight win over the Brooklyn Nets. Not even in their wildest dreams did the Cavs fans expect this type of a start to a season, but here we are. Pressure is now on them to keep winning, with every single team bringing their A-game in hopes of ending the run. Thanks to this amazing run, Cleveland has now built a 2.5 game atop of the Eastern Conference.
Chicago Bulls Stats & Form
With no standout star on the roster, the Chicago Bulls relied on a team effort in order to get the win in their last game over Atlanta. In total 3 starters scored 18 points, while 8 players finished in double figures in the 12-point win. It was only their 4th win in 10 games, they head back home where they’ve won just 1 game in 4 attempts. Monday’s game will be a difficult one, especially with Lonzo Ball still being out with his wrist injury.
Cleveland Cavaliers Stats & Form
Nobody can stop the Cleveland Cavaliers, at least that’s how it looks at the moment. Even when they fall behind big early in the game, they still manage to claw back. They just erased a 14-point deficit in Saturday’s win over Brooklyn to win their 11th game in a row. On the road they are 5-0 and head into Chicago full of optimism. Nobody shoots the three-ball like Cleveland right now, the Cavs lead the NBA at 42.2% made threes, the next closest team are the Timberwolves at 40.6%.
Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavaliers: Head to Head
It has been mostly Cleveland in head-to-head meetings. After sweeping the 2022-23 regular season series, the Cavaliers were up 3-0 in last year’s series, but Chicago somehow managed to pull off a win in the final meeting of the season. That win ended a 7-game win streak for the Cavs in this match-up, these two teams will once again play each other at least 4 times this regular season.
Chicago Bulls – Cleveland Cavaliers Odds
If you’re picking the Cavaliers to remain unbeaten, odds of 2/5 are available for a road victory here. Backing the Bulls to become the first team this year to hand the Cavs a loss nets you odds of 5/2.
The point total has been set at 225.5 points, with odds of 10/11 supporting either the over or the under.

Betting tip and prediction: Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavaliers (11.11.2024)
After suffering a scare in Saturday’s game against the Nets, Cleveland looks to push their best start in franchise history to 12 straight wins. On paper they are clear cut favorites here, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bulls got one over them. Chicago might be mediocre in most stats this season, but in one area of play they’ve exceeded expectations and that is their three-point defense. Opponents are shooting just 32.4% from deep against them, that’s the 4th best mark in the NBA. Cleveland relies quite a lot on three-ball to win games, if the Bulls are able to shut them down we could be witnessing an upset here. All win streaks have to come to an end at some point, it almost happened against the Nets over the weekend, despite the Cavs being 13.5 point favorites. Backed by a sold out United Center, we feel like the Bulls will be able to keep this game somewhat close. Let’s back the home team and the extra points here.
