Chesterfield are looking more and more doomed with every passing game now and a four-match losing streak has left them five points clear of safety. Six really given their atrocious goal difference. The Spireites are on a horrendous four-match losing streak of form at the moment and their defence has taken something of a battering in that sequence. They have shipped at least two goals in each of their last three league games and this has all left them sitting second from bottom in the league. The Robins have won ten of their seventeen away games this season which is an excellent return. However, they have found those away wins hard to come by recently with just a W1 D2 L3 record in their last six away from home. They have scored in each of their last thirteen away games in League two which is a great run and they have also been leading at half-time in nine of their road games, so a Swindon/Swindon half-time/ full-time option wouldn’t be a bad thing to consider. Where Swindon go goals usually follow and 76% of their road games have made it over 2.5 goals. They have collected more away points this season than any other side in the league and the Robins have scored in 94% of their away matches. A win for them against the struggling Spireites would keep them running strongly in their play off push.
