There are a huge number of games available to bet on this weekend with elite club friendlies, Scottish Cup action, MLS matches and a whole host of South American football available for you to bet on. In this preview I’ll be taking a look at some matches that you should be considering for a BTTS accumulator bet over the weekend.
Toronto FC vs New York City – 8/13 Bet355
If you’re looking for a BTTS team to bet on then you can usually rely on New York City to get the job done for you. In their 21 games in the MLS this season, 16 of them have seen BTTS; the highest amount of any side in the MLS. This weekend they come up against a Toronto FC side who have scored in nine consecutive home games and considering the last game between these two sides finished 2-2, a BTTS bet looks like a shoe in here.
Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur – 2/5 Ladbrokes
Pre-season friendlies are notoriously dangerous to bet on, but Saturday nights match between the sides who finished in 2nd and 3rd place in the Premier League last season looks like a game where you can expect BTTS. Tottenham Hotspur have been surprisingly leaky at the back so far in pre-season having conceded five goals in two games. On the flip side they have scored six times in those two games and manager Mauricio Pochettino appears to be favouring a free flowing attacking system this pre-season. Manchester City put four past Real Madrid last time out and have also conceded three times in their two games on this tour, meaning BTTS looks a safe bet.
Guangzhou R&F v Guangzhou Evergrande – 4/9 Ladbrokes
Casting the net a little wider with this one, we find ourselves in the Chinese Super League where the Guangzhou derby is taking place this weekend. Guangzhou R&F have been scoring for fun of late, picking up a 6-2 victory against Yanbian Funde in their last game and averaging three goals a game over their last six fixtures in the league. In those six fixtures they have also failed to keep a single clean sheet and recently conceded four in a home game. This weekends opponents Guangzhou Evergrande are the second highest scoring team in the Chinese Super League, but they have also failed to keep any clean sheets in their last five games. All things considered, goals should be expected this weekend as the two local rivals face off.
Placing these three bets in a Treble on Ladbrokes gives you odds of 2.26/1 and that looks like a solid accumulator for this weekend.
