We’ve already been treated to some superb matches in the Premier League during the festive period, with Arsenal and Liverpool playing out a scintillating 3-3 draw on Friday night before 10-man Leicester City scored a last minute equaliser to draw with Manchester United on Saturday evening. Boxing Day sees another full round of fixtures in the Premier League and in this article I will be putting together a 4-fold bet for you to take advantage of.
Chelsea v Brighton
Chelsea huffed and puffed against Everton on Saturday, but just couldn’t find a way past Jordan Pickford in The Toffees goal. Brighton, meanwhile, picked up a key 1-0 victory against Watford to move away from the relegation places, but they know things will be a lot tougher on Boxing Day. Neither of these sides have scored or conceded many goals recently and with Brighton having scored just once in their last four matches, I’m backing Chelsea to win this game to nil.

Liverpool v Swansea
Liverpool showed everything that is good and bad about this side on Friday night against Arsenal with a superb attacking display being undone by individual mistakes defensively. Jurgen Klopp’s side were cruising at 2-0 up before a crazy four minutes saw them fall 3-2 behind. It took a late Roberto Firmino goal to grab a point in a game which Liverpool really should have won. On Boxing Day, they take on bottom side Swansea City in a game they should really win comfortably. I’m backing Liverpool to win and Over 2.5 Goals to be scored in this one.

West Bromwich Albion v Everton
Everton had to be at their very best defensively against Chelsea on Saturday to come away with a 0-0 draw and despite having no shots on target of their own during the game, Sam Allardyce will have been happy with the result. Fans will be hoping for more attacking invention against struggling West Bromwich Albion on Boxing Day though and with Wayne Rooney likely to return in attack, I’m backing The Toffees to pick up a win here. Everton are unbeaten under Sam Allardyce and have moved up to 9th place in the league, whilst WBA are still struggling despite appointing Alan Pardew as manager, with The Baggies down in 19th place, just one point off bottom.

Tottenham Hotspur v Southampton
Tottenham bounced back from their heavy defeat against Manchester City with a comfortable 3-0 away at Burnley. Harry Kane helped himself to a hat trick in that match to go level on goals with Mohamed Salah on 15 at the top of the scoring charts. Despite that defeat to Manchester City, Spurs appear to be rediscovering their form and have won three of their last four matches. I’m backing them to pick up another win on Boxing Day against an inconsistent Southampton side who simply do not score enough goals.
