All runs have to come to an end at some point, at least that how the old NBA saying goes. Cleveland has broken all kinds of records in these first 3 weeks of the season, but facing the Boston Celtics will be unlike anything they’ve encountered so far this season. By some metric the Cavs have had the 3rd easiest strength of schedule so far in the NBA, which could be one of the reasons why they’ve been so good. Darius Garland will have a tough time going up against the Cs backcourt of Jrue Holiday and Derrick White. In his last game at TD Garden, Garland scored just 11 points on 4-for-17 shooting. We also like Jaylen Brown’s chances of slowing down Donovan Mitchell, the Cavs shooting guard will have to work hard for every single basket here. As good as the Cavaliers defense has been so far, we don’t believe they will have an answer for a player like Jayson Tatum here. The 26-year old has elevated his game to new heights this season, he’s even in the MVP discussion which hasn’t been the case in previous years.
