The two League Two sides have to go at it again on Tuesday night in order to make it through to the Third Round of the FA Cup. The winner of this replay will get through to face Bradford City at home in the next round. It should be another enthralling encounter between the two sides who are only separated by a point down near the relegation zone in the league. Which one of them will battle their way through? It is the visiting Vale who are just edging favouritism at 13/10 with Yeovil at 21/10 to win in 90 minutes.

Yeovil Form
The Glovers get a second bite of the cherry here after finding an 89th-minute equaliser in the first attempt at Vale Park. They get the home advantage but this should be another evenly matched affair between the two. Yeovil won just two of their last eight games in all competitions, both of those in the Football League Trophy which frankly doesn’t count for much at all. So they are struggling in competitive matches but overall their home form isn’t all that bad. They have gone W7 D4 L3 in all games at Huish Park in all competitions this season but did lose there 2-0 against Lincoln in the league on the weekend. They were on an eight-match scoring streak at home before that blank against the Imps.
Port Vale Form
The Valiants may have their work cut out for them now in this tie. They do go into the game off the back of a league win over Cambridge on the weekend, snapping a three-match winless streak but while they have been doing well at home, their away form hasn’t been all that strong though. They have won just three times on the road all season in all competitions (D2 L6) and they have only the two clean sheets away from Vale Park all season. The 1-1 correct score again between these two doesn’t look a bad option and it’s a short price of 5/1. Vale have failed to score in five of their twelve road games this season but they have netted in each of their last four and one goal exactly in each of their last three away games. They haven’t scored as many goals as Yeovil have this season, but have the better defence of the two.
Head to Head News
This will be the third meeting between the two this season and both games so far this term have ended in a 1-1 draw. So it is unlikely that there is going to be anything much splitting the two of them. There have been three draws in the last five meetings between these two with Vale winning the other two. Yeovil have a W3 D1 L1 record from five previous home games in all competitions against the Valiants.
Top Betting Tips
Yeovil have the home form against Vale and are a decent price to edge this one. This is likely going to be another low scoring game between them, but Vale’s away form just isn’t there to suggest that they can scrape through this one. Back the Glovers to edge it.
