Top of the table Manchester City have been in tremendous form so far this season, winning 10 of their 11 games so far. Just a home draw against Everton in which they had Kyle Walker sent off has prevented them from having a perfect record. They have been in fantastic form and it is tough to see anyone beating them with the way they are playing right now. Leicester come into the game unbeaten in their last five and since new boss Claude Puel has arrived they look to be picking up points much easier. They have the ability to test Manchester City, but beating them seems an almost impossible task for anyone right now so Leicester will head in more optimistic rather than hopeful.

Leicester have picked up in recent weeks and they are 11th in the league with 13 points, nine of those 13 points have come in their last five games. They have done well to steady the ship and a big part of that has been turning their losses into draws so they pick up regular points. That will keep them steadily in the middle of the table, but if they want to advance and reach the top half the some of those draws now have to become wins.
Leicester finished before the international break with a 2-2 tie at Stoke but before that game they recorded good wins over Everton and Swansea. We have seen they are capable and now they have steadied the ship it is time to prove their form over a longer period of time.
They have scored six goals in their last three games and as they have shown before, goal scoring is not a problem for them. Having conceded 16 goals from 11 games they will want to shore up defensively, but while ever they are scoring well that isn’t a huge concern and it makes their games exciting to watch.

After 11 Premier League games no one has managed to stop Manchester City and force them to lose a game, and it doesn’t look like happening any time soon. Even when they were up against it with 10 men they still found a way to draw with Everton and there is a genuine chance they could go the full season without losing a game. While City have been great to watch, and scoring for fun, they have also managed their defensive play very well too, something we haven’t really seen from them in the past. They have the second best defensive record in the division, tied for that place with Tottenham on seven goals conceded. However, going forward they have scored a huge 15 goals more than the second best team Manchester United. Those two records together are why it looks like City could go unbeaten through the entire season.

Leicester are unlikely to get many chances against Manchester City, and if they do get one they will have to put it away. They have scored six goals recently, with five of their attacking players all getting on the score board, so the potential is certainly there for them to score should they get a chance.
When it comes to attacking play with Manchester City, they have an abundance of riches and players sat on the bench that would get in any other Premier League team. So far this season if you had to pick out two players it would be Kevin de Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus, both have been fantastic and contributing both goals and assists to the total. Any chance Leicester have to get something from this game relies on them being able to stop not only these two, but the rest of the Manchester City attacking line up.
