Exeter Form
The Grecians would probably be happy enough to get through this with another point like the one they picked up at Wycombe on the weekend. They played out a 0-0 draw with the free-scoring Wanderers so Exeter did superbly to hold them at bay. At home the Grecians have a tremendous W5 D0 L1 record for the season, the only defeat coming against leaders Notts County. They have had a tough run of games recently, but their form at home, where they have only conceded four goals and claimed four clean sheets in six, | Prediction, Betting Tips & Oddsis pretty exemplary.
Luton Form
Remarkably for the second time this season, Luton scored seven or more goals in a game. They opened the season with an 8-2 win over Yeovil but really bettered that with a 7-1 win over a Stevenage side who had been defensively solid this season. That was some statement by the Hatters who are now W6 D1 in their last seven games in League Two. They have Danny Hylton and James Collins now both on seven goals for the season (joint 13/8 anytime goalscorer favourites). They are also carrying away from with a five-match unbeaten streak of form on the road (W2 D3). They have conceded just one goal in their last four away games.
Head to Head News
These two met three times last season as they had an FA Cup tie to play out and Luton won that tie at Exeter and then draw both games against the Grecians in the league. Luton are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions then against Exeter, winning three and drawing two. Luton are W2 D3 in their last five trips to St James Park.
Top Betting Tips
Luton seems to hold all the aces at the moments with a terrific run of form behind them and they will fancy their chances in this. Exeter, of course, are no pushover but dropped points against Coventry, Notts County and Wycombe recently suggest that they are having a tough time living with the better sides in the league.
