Betting Tip: Crawley v Lincoln

Crawley’s hot run of league form came crashing down around their ankles in midweek as they were crushed 4-1 by league leaders Luton. Will Crawley be able to respond in a positive fashion to that setback? Lincoln are one of the sided above them in the race to try and land a play off spot this season so this would be the perfect game for Crawley to strike back to winning form in.

Crawley Form

Crawley were dealt a heavy blow in midweek as they suffered a 4-1 loss out at Luton. That leaves them though still with a good W7 L2 record in their last nine played in the league and there is a decent chance that they will still make a good run at the play offs, but they will need to bounce back to winning ways immediately you feel, because things are so tight ahead of them. Crawley are W7 D2 L7 at home for the entire season in the league but they are on a four-match winning streak at Broadfield. They have netted at last two goals in each of their last three home games and should give the visitors a good run for their money. Six of Crawley’s seven home wins this season have been by a one-goal margin only. They have been level at the break in 10 of their 16 home games so the half time draw looks great.

Lincoln Form

The Imps are ticking over very well in good form with a six-match unbeaten streak going and they have lost just one game in their last thirteen and that was against league leaders Luton away from home. They start the weekend in the eighth spot, just outside of the play offs. But four of their last six have been drawn and they are without a win in any of their last four on the road (D3 L1) so they aren’t running in hot away form. Lincoln have scored 16 and conceded 16 so far this season away from home and just 33% of their road games have managed to get up and above the 2.5 goal line. 81% of their away goals have come in the second half of matches so again, a half-time draw looks tremendous value. Lincoln do currently have the second best defensive record in the league but with them not going so well out on the road at the moment, they may well struggle to get three points on the board. A loss would see Crawley move ahead of them by a point.

Head to Head News

Back on October 28th, 2017, these two sides met for the very first time. It was a dull 0-0 draw which was played out as well. So that’s the extent of the history between these.

Top Betting Tips Crawley v Lincoln

This should be a good game between two sides in form. Crawley were running so strongly before crashing against Luton in midweek and Lincoln are no pushovers whatsoever but they haven’t won for a while out on the road, so back Crawley to grab a huge three points for themselves.
