Wednesday night sees a massive game in the Premier League as Arsenal host Chelsea at The Emirates Stadium in a clash between two of the most successful teams in the Premier League era. These two sides come into the game in solid form, with Arsenal unbeaten in their last six games, whilst Chelsea are unbeaten in their last five. We could be in for a real classic at The Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, with both teams desperate for a win.

Arsenal
Despite being unbeaten in their last six matches, Arsenal have won only twice in that time and those four draws have really cost Arsene Wenger’s team in the race for the top four places. Arsenal suffered another disappointing draw last time out against West Bromwich Albion, with Jay Rodriguez converting a late, controversial penalty for The Baggies after it looked like an own goal from James McClean had given The Gunners all three points. Expect both managers to make changes for the game with Sead Kolisinac, Laurent Koscielny and Mesut Ozil all struggling with knocks ahead of the game.
Chelsea
Chelsea come into this game full of confidence after winning four and drawing one of their last five matches. The Blues demolished Stoke City 5-0 in their last match, with Willian starring for Antonio Conte’s side. Conte managed to give star man Eden Hazard a full rest in that game and the Belgian wizard is sure to come back into the starting line up for Wednesday’s game. Chelsea have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match, with David Luiz remaining sidelined with a knee injury amidst rumours of a transfer to Arsenal.
Talking Points
1. Arsenal have a superb record at The Emirates Stadium this season, winning 8 and losing just 1 of their 10 games so far.
2. 5 of the last 6 meetings between both clubs have seen over 2.5 goals combined, but their last meeting ended in a scoreless stalemate on September 17, 2017.
3. Chelsea have taken 20 points from their 10 away games so far; only Manchester City have a better point’s per game away record than Chelsea.
Arsenal v Chelsea – Betting Odds and Predictions
Arsenal have been a little disappointing in recent weeks, drawing too many matches, but at home Arsene Wenger’s side have been very good, winning 80% of their matches. I think this could be a tightly contested game on Wednesday and it’s tough to pick a winner. Antonio Conte would surely take a draw heading into the match and I think that could well be the most likely outcome in this one. Alexis Sanchez has been in fine form of late and if he is at his best, then Arsenal have a great chance of winning, but I think they will fall short. Chelsea start this game as slight favourites at odds of 6/4, whilst a home win for Arsenal is priced up at 9/5, with the draw available at 12/5.
Top Betting Tips Arsenal v Chelsea
As you can see by the odds, this game is an extremely tough one to call and the bookies are suggesting that any one of the three outcomes are fairly likely. Both Teams to Score at 8/15 looks like a solid bet and after the 0-0 between these two sides earlier in the season, hopefully both sides will be slightly more expansive this time around. Over 2.5 goals at 4/6 is interesting me and when you consider that five of the last six meetings between these two sides have gone over 2.5 goals, it looks like the best value bet to me.
