Arsenal moved into the top four after that last-minute Alexis Sanchez winner at Burnley on Sunday. Now they have the chance to get three more points as they host Huddersfield Town who were so close to getting a draw at home to Manchester City later that afternoon.

Those calling for Arsene Wenger to leave have been a little bit quiet in recent weeks. After An erratic start to the season, the Gunners are now in the top four, in the last 32 of the Europa League and most importantly, have a recent win over rivals Tottenham and are above them in the table.
Arsenals Form Preview
Six home league games have produced six wins and just one goal conceded in the last five. In all, they have won their last 11 home league games and have only lost one in the last 24. All good news but there’s still no sign of a title challenge this season. They may be fourth in the table, which most fans would settle for as they’d be back in the Champions League and have Thursday nights free again, but 12 points behind leaders Manchester City, virtually 13 because of their vastly inferior goal difference.
Four of their last five league games have been won but it’s the victory at Burnley that will silence the critics even more. Away form had been hindering their season, but they don’t have to play a top seven side on their travels until the return clash with Tottenham in February, so a solid run of away wins might just change their season as long as the January transfer window isn’t too painful an experience for them.
Huddersfield Form Preview
Huddersfield Town put up a good fight against Manchester City on Sunday, but a late goal saw them fall to a 2-1 defeat. They start the midweek fixtures in 11th place but only five points above the bottom three. They have lost three of their last four league games and this looks booked to become four out of five.
The Terriers began life in the Premier League with a 3-0 win at Crystal Palace but the next five away games have produced just a single point and they haven’t scored a goal in those past five away matches. They have had their moments since being promoted and got off to a great start with seven points from their first three games but since then have eight from their next ten. Those home games against the two Manchester clubs have shown that they can be a tough proposition when playing at their best but conceded 11 goals in three games against Spurs, Liverpool and Bournemouth.
Another defeat looks likely for Huddersfield but nine of their next ten fixtures after the trip to the Emirates are against sides outside of the top six, so they need to be getting some points from those games before the really tough fixtures come along.
Arsenal v Huddersfield: Our Preview
Arsenal are in good form at present, particularly at home. With a home match against Manchester United at the weekend, there’s a chance that Wenger may decide to rest a few players but even if he does, they should have enough in their squad to get past Huddersfield. The away side have been struggling on their travels with no goals scored on the road since the opening day of the season. Back Arsenal to get their seventh straight home league win of the season.
