Portugal had a tough opening of the tournament but what counts are the three points they won after beating the Czech Republic with Francisco Conceicao’s goal in the stoppage time. Portugal won their eight games in the last ten, and the only losses came against Slovenia and Croatia in recent months.
Despite that, Portugal is in excellent form, as they were the only team to win all the matches in the qualifying round. Among their victories in recent months, they defeated Sweden by 5-2 and Finland by 4-2.
In all ten of their last games, there were at least two goals scored, and in seven of those, at least three.
