There are a number of high profile friendly matches taking place on Tuesday around the world including England vs Brazil and Germany vs France as teams step up their preparations for next summer’s World Cup Finals. In this article, I will be putting together a 4-fold bet for you to take advantage of.
England v Brazil
England’s young lions fared well against an equally experimental German side on Friday night during a fairly drab 0-0 draw at Wembley Stadium. Fans will be hoping for more excitement on Tuesday as England welcome Brazil to the capital. You would expect this Brazil team to cause the England backline more problems with the likes of Neymar, Gabriel Jesus and Philipe Coutinho all expected to make appearances at Wembley on Tuesday. England have a pretty weak squad for the match and considering Brazil’s quality available to them, I’m backing the Samba Boys to pick up a victory in this one.

Russia v Spain
The World Cup hosts, Russia, take on one of the favourites for the tournament, Spain, on Tuesday night in what could be an exciting game. This Spanish side impressed plenty of people during qualification, finishing top of their group, ahead of Italy and I think they could do well next summer in Russia. Spain’s last defeat came in EURO 2016 and since then they have won all but three of their games including Saturday’s 5-0 win over Costa Rica. I’m backing Spain to pick up another victory here and continue their superb run of form.

Argentina v Nigeria
Argentina struggled during qualification for the World Cup before eventually getting over the line and they were again fairly average in their last game, a 1-0 win against Russia. On Tuesday night they take on a fairly weak Nigerian team and despite captain Lionel Messi’s withdrawal from the squad, they should still have more than enough quality to overcome the African side.

Austria v Uruguay
Austria were expected to qualify for next summer’s World Cup Finals, but a poor showing in qualification means they missed out and will now have to concentrate on the next major tournament instead. On Tuesday night they come up against a Uruguay side who finished 2nd in the South American section of qualifying and who boast Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani in a dangerous front line. Neither of these sides concede too many goals, so we could be in for a tight game, but I’m backing Uruguay to just edge it.
