Philadelphia 76ers vs Chicago Bulls: Current situation
The state of the 76ers isn’t any good at the moment. Even the fans have started to turn their backs on the team that’s currently on a 7-game losing streak. Monday’s game might very well determine in which direction the rest of their season will go as they are playing a team that’s directly ahead of them in the East standings, in a battle for the 10th seed and the final spot in the play-in tournament.
Chicago is in a similar situation as they’ve lost 6 games in row, but unlike the 76ers their goals aren’t really set on making the postseason this year. In fact, the Bulls are entering this game without any pressure whatsoever, as they look to finish higher up in the NBA draft lottery as possible. Since trading away Zach LaVine to the Sacramento Kings, the Bulls have won just one of 7 games played.
Philadelphia 76ers Stats & Form
Saturday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets was a brutal one for the 76ers. Tyrese Maxey did his best to help the team win with 31 points, but once again he didn’t get adequate help from the likes of Joel Embiid and Paul George who combined for just 29 points on 1-for-12 from three-point land. After the loss the Nets have now overtaken the 76ers in the standings, Philadelphia has now failed to cover the spread in 8 straight games, including 5 straight at home.
Chicago Bulls Stats & Form
As far as betting goes the Bulls have done a slightly better job than the 76ers against the spread, covering 6 times in 18 games. However, their road form is a concern going into this game as they’ve won just once in 6 such games. Their latest defeat came against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in OT, Nikola Vucevic had a chance to win the game in regulation but he could not deliver in the clutch.
Philadelphia 76ers vs Chicago Bulls: Head-to-Head
The last 20 meetings have been dominated in large part by the 76ers who have won 16 of 20 games. Most of those wins came due to big time performance by Joel Embiid who is averaging 30.7 points per game in his last 10 vs Chicago. Backing the 76ers in meetings vs Chicago has yielded profit in 15 of 20 games, but you have to wonder if that is a good idea considering in what type of form the two teams are going into this game.
Philadelphia 76ers – Chicago Bulls Odds
Backing the Sixers to win here gets you odds of 8/15. If you fancy a road win for the lowly Bulls you can get odds of 8/5.
The point total has been set at a modest 216.5 points, with odds of 10/11 supporting either the over or the under.

Betting tip and prediction: Philadelphia 76ers vs Chicago Bulls (24.02.2025)
There is no end in sight for the misery that the Philadelphia 76ers fans are going through this season. Even against a vastly inferior team talent wise they were unable to get a result in their last game, despite having their big 3 ready and playing. So why exactly would we trust them all of a sudden even against a lowly Chicago Bulls team? In order to beat the Bulls you have to have a strong offensive performance and the 76ers just haven’t lived up to the hype on that end of the floor all year long. Apart from Maxey having nightly 30+ point performances, as a team the 76ers find themselves in 23rd as far as offensive efficiency goes. The Bulls are 3 spots ahead of them, averaging 111.4 points per 100 possessions. Trading away Zach LaVine the Bulls have suffered a lot on that end, but the likes of Coby White and co. have been able to compensate on certain nights. Monday could be another one of those games in which they are able to get whatever they want offensively, the 76ers have the 6th worst defense in the NBA as well. Until we see the 76ers turn things around we are not touching them. Let’s roll with the underdog Bulls in this one to keep things tight.
