This will be a 2nd night of a back-to-back for the Nuggets who play the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night. They will also have to travel in between games, which is something that the Lakers won’t have to do after their Thursday home game against Orlando. The outcome of this game will largely depend on whether or not Nikola Jokic plays here, but even if he does I would still give a slight edge to the Lakers. Taking a week off in the middle of the season can disrupt your rhythm, no matter how talented of a basketball player you are. The Lakers have been a juggernaut at home this season, winning 7 of 8 games and posting the 3rd best offensive numbers. At this point in time the Nuggets simply don’t have enough to keep up with a high octane offense, we just saw them come up with 94 and 90 points in 2 of their last 3 games against Memphis and New Orleans.
