Premier League 4-Fold – Sunday

Super Sunday lives up to its billing this weekend with some absolutely huge games taking place on Sunday afternoon. There are four games in total, kicking off with Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace before the really big games take centre stage as Manchester City host Arsenal and Chelsea host Manchester United. All three of these games will feature in this 4-Fold accumulator bet preview, with all of the odds provided courtesy of Ladbrokes and accurate at the time of writing.

Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace

Wednesday night felt like a watershed moment for Spurs as they beat Real Madrid 3-1 at Wembley Stadium and announced their arrival into the big leagues. They really needed the victory too after two less than impressive performances against Manchester United and West Ham United had seen them lose back to back games. Harry Kane’s return from injury saw Spurs back at their best and I fancy them to pick up a big win on Saturday against the league’s bottom side Crystal Palace.

Manchester City v Arsenal

Manchester City remain unbeaten in all competitions this season and picked up another impressive victory away at Napoli in the week. Pep Guardiola’s side look irresistible at the moment and currently lead the way by five points in the Premier League. They have already dispatched Liverpool and Chelsea this season and on Sunday they come up against an Arsenal side who have looked their usual inconsistent selves this season. Arsenal held Chelsea to a goalless draw with an impressive performance, but Arsene Wenger’s side could just as easily play like they did when they were trounced 4-0 by Liverpool back in August. I’m backing Manchester City to continue their fine form with another win on Sunday and depending on which Arsenal side turn up, it could be a big win.

Chelsea v Manchester United

Jose Mourinho goes back to his old stomping ground on Sunday as his Manchester United side travel to Chelsea to take on the current Premier League champions. Chelsea were very poor in the week against Roma, going down 3-0 in the Italian capital and there are rumours of discontent at Chelsea. There have even been a few newspaper stories claiming that if Chelsea lose on Sunday then Antonio Conte could be out of a job. Jose Mourinho likes to keep it tight in the big games and I think the first goal will be crucial in this one, as it stands I’m backing a draw and I think we could easily be in for a 0-0.

Everton v Watford

If Everton fans expected things to get easier after Ronald Koeman left, they have will have been bitterly disappointed with the performances under the temporary management of David Unsworth. The former youth team boss is desperate to land the job on a full time basis, but three defeats in three games with just one goal scored is hardly the ideal audition. On Sunday they come up against a Watford side who have impressed this season and Marco Silva will certainly fancy his chances of grabbing an away win in this one. I think Everton will manage a draw here though, whether that will be enough to convince the Everton board to give Unsworth the job on a full time basis remains to be seen.
