Following a busy week of EFL Cup football, attention turns back to the Premier League this weekend and kicking things off we have a massive game between two teams vying for the title this season as Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. That is just one of the games that will feature in this 4-Fold bet preview with all odds provided courtesy of Ladbrokes and accurate at the time of writing.
Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur
Manchester United come into this game on the back of two disappointing performances in the league that have seen them slip five points behind rivals Manchester City at the top of the table. Jose Mourinho’s side were extremely poor last time out against Huddersfield Town on their way to a 2-1 defeat and he will be asking for much more from his players when they take on Spurs this weekend. Spurs themselves have a horrible record at Old Trafford, having won just twice there in the Premier League and without Harry Kane I think it will be tough for them to win the game. I can see a draw being the most likely outcome in this one, a result which will please Mauricio Pochettino much more than his opposite number Mourinho.

Liverpool v Huddersfield Town
Liverpool were diabolical at Wembley Stadium last week on their way to a 4-1 defeat against Spurs and Jurgen Klopp will be demanding an improvement this weekend when they take on a Huddersfield Town side full of confidence following their shock win over Manchester United. Liverpool have been solid at home this season, conceding just twice and I’m backing them to win this one comfortably.

Watford v Stoke City
Watford have been the surprise package of the league this season and they pushed Chelsea all the way in their last game despite eventually going down 4-2. Marco Silva has his Watford side playing attractive attacking football and I’m expecting them to cause this struggling Stoke City side all sorts of problems on Saturday.

Bournemouth v Chelsea
Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side are really struggling this season and I think it could be a long old season for the South Coast side. They look too weak all over the field and the signing of Jermain Defoe seems to have affected their attacking play in a negative way. This weekend they will come up against last season’s Premier League champions, Chelsea, and I’m expecting Chelsea to do the business in this one. They had to work to beat Watford in their last game, but with Alvaro Morata continuing his return to fitness, I’m expecting them to beat a flimsy looking Bournemouth side on Saturday.
