It’s another bumper weekend for sport with Manchester United hosting Tottenham Hotspur in a huge Premier League clash on Saturday as well the Mexican Grand Prix, the World Series in baseball and many, many more things! In this preview, I’ll be giving you five betting tips for the weekend; some of them are long shots, whilst some of them are safer bets. Hopefully you will be able to find something that takes your fancy!
Lewis Hamilton to win the F1 World Championship – 11/8
Lewis Hamilton has a great chance to win the F1 World Title in Mexico this weekend, with him only needing to finish in 5th place, even if Sebastian Vettel wins the race. Hamilton has taken advantage of performance issues for Vettel recently to storm clear in the title race and I’m backing him to get the job done this weekend.
Real Madrid to win and BTTS (NO) – 13/10
Real Madrid take on Girona this weekend and Zinedine Zidane’s side will be confident of a big win. Real Madrid currently sit 5 points behind Barcelona in 3rd place, whilst Girona are down in 15th place with just 9 points from 9 games. Despite conceding 7 goals already this season, I’m backing Real Madrid to win this one to nil.
Everton to beat Leicester City – 11/4
Two teams who have recently sacked their managers face off against each other on Sunday afternoon as Leicester City host Everton. Claude Puel will be taking charge of his first league game in charge of Manchester City, whilst David Unsworth will again take caretaker charge of Everton. I’m backing Everton to win this one and I think they have a much better team than their league position suggests.

Manchester United come into this game on the back of two disappointing performances in the league that have seen them slip five points behind rivals Manchester City at the top of the table. Jose Mourinho’s side were extremely poor last time out against Huddersfield Town on their way to a 2-1 defeat and he will be asking for much more from his players when they take on Spurs this weekend. Spurs themselves have a horrible record at Old Trafford, having won just twice there in the Premier League and without Harry Kane I think it will be tough for them to win the game. I can see a draw being the most likely outcome in this one, a result which will please Mauricio Pochettino much more than his opposite number Mourinho.
