Yeovil continue to struggle at the wrong end of the table and have only collected the one win in their last six league games now so have some work to do to pull themselves out of their slump. Their flimsy defence continues to blight them this term. Crewe though are going to be hard to read in this one. They were on a terrible sliding streak until they sprang a huge surprise out of nowhere last weekend to beat the in-form Stevenage. That really came out of the blue, but can they follow it up? Yeovil are 31/20 favourites to Coral to win the game, with Crewe at 17/10.

Yeovil Form
The Glovers have lost back to back league games going into this one, failing to score in both of those. That was after things were looking pretty good for them with just one defeat in their previous five games. So this is about resolve and digging deep for them to try and snap this current slump of form. At home, they have done alright actually with a W2 D3 L1 record on the board but they have gone winless in their last four (D3 L1) at Huish Park. Clean sheets have been few and far between for them this season but the two they have collected have been on home soil. Yeovil have the second worst defensive record in the division, with only Forest Green having conceded more.
Crewe Form
Crewe were on a terrible five-match losing streak and then out of nowhere they turned around and landed a 1-0 win at home over one of the better sides in the division, Stevenage. So can the Railwaymen follow up with at least another point? That win will have relieved so much pressure off them, but that triumph came at home and does nothing for their poor away form. They have lost each of their last four away games in the league and have failed to score in three of those as well. They have been losing at half time in three of their five away games this season and have managed just the three away goals all season.
Head to Head News
Last season in League Two, Yeovil did come out on top in the meetings, winning both games to nil, landing a solid 3-0 victory in this corresponding fixture. Yeovil have lost just one of their last six league games against Crewe (W4 D1) and three of the four wins in that sequence have been by just a 1-0 scoreline. Five of the last six meetings have produced two goals or less in them.
Top Betting Tips
Look for a tight game at Huish Park and under 2.5 goals is a price of 5/6 and worth considering. As for a winner, Yeovil are up in the head to head and it is worth rolling with them. Crewe still have to prove that they can compete out on the road.
