This will be the highest-profile game of League Two this weekend as league leaders Exeter make the trip up to Adams Park to face fourth-placed Wycombe. This should be some clash. Wycombe have put together a great four-match winning streak for their current form and so will seriously lay down a challenge in this one. But Exeter are back in business again in winning form after their little blip of back to back defeats. Wycombe are 11/10 to take the win at Ladbrokes, with Exeter at 5/2.

Wycombe Form
Wycombe hit a sticky patch of form in mid-September only picking up two points from three games. But they have redressed the balance in some form as well with a four-match winning streak and they have scored at least two goals in each of those wins as well. They are fully back in scoring form and now that is six separate occasions this season that they have scored exactly three goals in a game. They are the top scorers in the division now but defensively they continue to be a liability. No-one inside the current top twelve have conceded more goals than Wycombe have. The beast that is Adebayo Akinfenwa is 6/4 anytime goalscorer favourite.
Exeter Form
This will be a serious test for Exeter here. The Imps have enjoyed a great season with a W9 D1 L2 record under their belt for the season. They have produced a very good W4 D1 L1 record on the road as well with wins in four of their lats fire away from home. They are one of the few sides in the division which can stand toe to toe with Wycombe’s firepower so this should be interesting. Of the two, Exeter are a far better defensive side though with five clean sheets this season.
Head to Head News
There were home wins exchanged between these two last season in League Two. Five of the last six league meetings have actually produced a home win so things are pretty even between the two of them. Three of the last four games have been won to nil by Wycombe though so they do slightly edge the most current form.
Top Betting Tips
Wycombe are value to take the win in this one. Exeter suffered a couple of notable defeats against Coventry and Notts County, both stronger teams in the division towards the end of September which suggests that they may get edged out against Wycombe, another strong team who are carrying superb form at the moment.
