England will meet up with Slovenia on Thursday in the World Cup 2018 qualifiers. This is the penultimate game for both and it could be a significant one for England as they would secure a top place finish if they produced the victory in the match. England boss Gareth Southgate will be hoping that that form carries over to international duty. England have played host to Slovenia just twice before and from those games, they have claimed a 2-1 win and a 3-1 victory over them. Slovenia have kept just one clean sheet on the road in the qualification group, which was in 1-0 victory at Malta.
