Last season’s French Ligue 1 runners-up have already played the first of their three ICC matches in the United States. They beat Roma via a penalty shoot-out, following a 1-1 draw in Detroit.
It was their second 1-1 draw of pre-season, having played out the same result in a friendly with Paris FC last week.
Last season, PSG won all three of their ICC matches and finished above nine other teams to be crowned 2016 ICC USA & Europe champions. That was their second ICC title, after finishing top of ten teams to win the 2015 North America & Europe section.
So, in eight International Champions Cup matches overall, their only defeat was on penalties to Chelsea in 2015. Looking at results after 90 minutes, they are unbeaten in the competition with six wins and two draws.

So far, Tottenham’s pre-season has consisted of a behind-closed-doors friendly against Leyton Orient which none of the first team regulars took part in.
The build up to a new Premier League season starts against PSG in the USA for Spurs, who will be hoping to build confidence ahead of what they hope will be another title challenge. They fell short last season, and will want to show they can cut it among the best before the new campaign.
This is only the second time Tottenham will have participated in the International Champions Cup, with the first being somewhat of a disaster. Last year in Australia, they lost to Juventus and Atletico Madrid to finish bottom of the four teams in their section.
