Matteo Berrettini News & Form
The 23-year old Italian barely overcome Diego Schwartzman in five sets in the previous round. Berrettini was trailing twice, but he found the way to win a couple of tiebreaks and beat Diego 6-3 in the fifth set. Matteo had whopping 75 winners and 76 unforced errors, controlling the flow of the match, but he struggled with the 1st serve, hitting just 60% and allowing 15 break points to his rival.
Berrettini had an easy job in the first two rounds, and he’s enjoying a wonderful grass-court season. Matteo won the title in Stuttgart and reached the semis in Halle. He has a 29-13 record in 2019 and a 13-4 record on grass in his career. This is Matteo’s second appearance at Wimbledon, and he exited in the second round last year.
Roger Federer News & Form
The World No. 3 cruised through the first three rounds, losing just a set against George Harris in the opener. Federer thrashed off Jay Clarke and Lucas Pouille in straight sets in the next two rounds, and he was impressive against Pouille who’s the 27th seed here. Roger had 39 winners and just 14 unforced errors, converting four of his nine break points.
Federer played in Halle ahead of Wimbledon, winning his 10th title at the former Gerry Webber Open. Roger is looking for his ninth championship at Wimbledon and the second in three years. He has a 184-26 record on the grass court in his career, while Federer is 35-4 in 2019.

Berrettini vs Federer Betting Tip
The key factor in this match will be Berrettini’s serve. If the Italian keeps it on the highest level, he certainly stands a chance and we’ll see a tiebreak for sure. Hereof, the price on a tiebreak at 4/9 with Ladbrokes or Coral seems fair, but if you want greater wages, go with both players to win a set at 17/20 with William Hill.
Berrettini is playing in an excellent form and his rocket serve is a powerful weapon on the grass court. We saw plenty of surprises in the first week at Wimbledon, so Matteo should make this match interesting to watch.
