The second week is upon us at Wimbledon and there have been a few big name casualties in the men’s draw whilst the usual contenders remain very much in the mix to pick up the crown on Sunday. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have been imperious in their opening matches in South West London whilst three-time champions Novak Djokovic has shown title-winning form too. There are a swathe of youngsters still left in the draw too as well as all the usual suspects at going deep in Grand Slam tennis.
With all 16 players in action on ‘Manic Monday’ it promises to be an intriguing day of tennis at the All England Club:
Karen Khachanov vs Novak Djokovic

Former world number 1 Novak Djokovic will have to do things the hard way if he is to go all the way at SW19 this year as fresh of his win against home favourite Kyle Edmund, he takes on the hard-hitting Karen Khachanov for a place in the last 8. Djokovic last won Wimbledon in 2015 and looks well placed to go deep once again this year – following a difficult 12 months. Khachanov has reached the last 16 for the first time at Wimbledon and at the age of 22, looks to be a real contender for the future on the ATP Tour.
Head to Head
This is the first meeting between these two players and it promises to be a fascinating one with 2 players possessing very differing game styles.
Top Match Bet
This could be one of the ties of the round with Khachanov’s power facing off against Djokovic’s exemplary movement and the Serb should just have too much here.

Roger Federer vs Adrian Mannarino
Odds:
Roger Federer – 1/33 (Bet Bright)
Adrian Mannarino – 16/1 (Bet Victor)
Eight-time champion and all-time great gets his Wimbledon second week underway with a potentially tricky tie against the talented Frenchman Adrian Mannarino. Federer is yet to drop a set at this year’s Championships and always brings his best tennis to the grass at Aorangi Park. Mannarino meanwhile, is seeded 22 at SW19 this year and has a wealth of tricks up his sleeve on any given surface and he has reached the last 16 for the second year running.
Head to Head
As with many of his opponents, Federer holds a perfect record of 5 wins and no defeats over the Frenchman – his last win came in Federer’s home town of Basel last season.
Top Match Bet
Mannarino is an experienced campaigner and will find ways to trouble Federer but the Swiss supremo looks too good currently and should breeze past the Frenchman here.
