Accrington will have had the benefit of a rest in midweek while their weekend opponents were duelling with Swindon. So that should give Stanley a boost and a decent chance of snapping back immediately from a league loss last time out. Stevenage have improved somewhat lately in terms of not losing as much, but this is a tough away game for them.

Accrington Form:
Stanley have won four of their last five league games, but the anomaly there happened on the weekend when they lost 2-1 at Crawley which was a bit of a surprise result. Still, overall they have looked pretty strong and they have scored at least two goals in four of their last five played and they have netted in each of their last seven league games home and away (plus one each in each of their last seven home games). So they should find the back of the net and their home form is pretty solid having won their last two there and overall having produced a fine W8 D2 L3 record at the Crown Ground this season. They have averaged exactly two goals per game and that should be enough to hold off the challenge of Stevenage.
Stevenage Form:
Stevenage have improved a lot recently with a W2 D2 L1 record on the board having gone through a really rough run of results since October through to the end of December. So 2018 for the large part has been pretty positive for them, but they lost in midweek as they played host to Swindon and lost 1-0 Each of their last four league games have ended under 2.5 goals which may be a good trend to ride with in this one. Stevenage have conceded only one goal in their last three played. They haven’t won often enough on the road to warrant backing with confidence and have only gone W1 D1 L8 in their last ten away games in League Two. The win and the draw did crop up in their last two road games though. They have been far from tight on their travels this season and against a good scoring side like Stanley, that will probably hurt Boro, who have scored 82% of their away goals in the second half of matches.
Accrington v Stevenage Head to Head News:
Stanley have failed to win any of their last four home games against Stevenage all competitions. They have hosted them five times before in League Two contests and have posted a poor W1 D2 L2 record from, failing to score in three of those games. They also lost out on the road at Stevenage earlier in the season as well. Both teams have failed to score now in each of the last four meetings.
Top Accrington v Stevenage Betting Tip & Prediction:
This is a day to throw the head to head form out of the window and roll with Accrington. They have done enough winning lately to bounce back from that slip at Crawley last time out. Their home form is in decent shape and will be the fresher of the two. Home win.
