Grimsby have forgotten what a winning feeling is like as they continued their streak without one on the weekend in a draw out at Colchester. At least it was a point for the Mariners which keeps them out of danger. Luton got back to winning ways as expected on the weekend as they landed a home win over Morecambe and that actually extended their lead at the top of the table to six, as second-placed Notts County lost.

The Mariners last took a win back on December 9th when they collected three points on home soil against Forest Green. Since then they have managed to take three points only (from three draws) in eight games. So it has all gone a bit sour for them, but they did earn a point out at Colchester on the weekend to stop a four-match losing slide. They have produced nothing in their last three games at Blundell Park, losing against Accrington, Morecambe and Newport and drawing a blank in two of those defeats. Luton have had their wobbles on the road recently though, losing back to back away games against Port Vale and Chesterfield and those were games that the Hatters were expected to win comfortably. So while their home form remains immense, they need to rediscover their away form.
