Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies: Current situation
It was another turbulent season for the Warriors who wrapped it up with a 48-34 record following Sunday’s OT loss to the Clippers. That’s a slight improvement compared to last year when they were 46-36 which was good enough only for the 10th seed. For the 2nd year running Steph and co. will have to go through the play-in tournament to secure a spot in the postseason.
After a injury riddled 2023-24 season when they were only 27-55 finishing 13th in the West, the Grizzlies turned things around swiftly this year to finish 8th with a record of 48-34. However, it has been far from smooth sailing for Ja Morant and his teammates. On top of his on court antics, the Grizzlies management also made Morant’s life difficult by firing his head coach with less than 2 weeks left in the regular season.
Golden State Warriors Stats & Form
Stephen Curry dropped 36 while Jimmy Butler added 30 and 9 assists, but the Warriors fell in overtime on the final day of the regular season 124-119 to the LA Clippers. The loss dropped them to the 7th seed and although it might look disappointing at first, the silver lining is that the Warriors still have two more opportunities to qualify for the postseason.
Memphis Grizzlies Stats & Form
Resting most of their starters didn’t prove to be a risky move at all on the final day of the season as the Grizzlies destroyed the injury riddled Mavericks 132-97. Lamar Stevens led the way with 31 points while 3 other Memphis players added 20+ in the win. As a team they attempted 104 field goals in the win, dominating the offensive glass by recording 19 rebounds on that end.
Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies: Head-to-Head

The only win by the Grizz was a 144-93 blowout win back in December, the latest meeting between the two teams happened in early April with Golden State winning 134-125 behind a 52 point output from Stephen Curry.

Betting tip and prediction: Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies (15.04.2025)
The Warriors really tried their best to win Sunday’s regular season finale against the Clippers which would have guaranteed them the 6th seed, but now they have to go through the play-in tournament to secure a spot in the postseason. And that might not be a bad thing necessarily because if they win they get to play the inexperienced Houston Rockets in the 2 vs 7 match-up. Playing the Grizzlies will also be a tough match-up, but expectations are high in the Warriors camp as they have home court advantage in Tuesday’s game. So far this season they’ve gone 24-17 SU in games played at Chase Center and have beaten the Grizzlies both times when playing there. Unlike the Warriors, Memphis won on the final day of the regular season securing themselves the 8th seed. This will be a massive test for the likes for Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., who haven’t taken the next step in their development as some analysts expected them to do this season. The match-up against the Warriors has not been a favorable one over the years – Memphis last won a regular season series back in 2021-22. Defense has been a problem for this team when facing the Warriors, especially when it comes to containing Stephen Curry. The last time he played them Steph had 52 points, he will be a lot to deal with in Tuesday’s game as well. Golden State has way more experience in big time moments, plus they’re playing at home. Those two factors should be enough to decide this game in their favor. We recommend backing the Warriors here.
